The 3rd International Workshop on Broadband MIMO Channel Measurement and Modeling
August 25, 2009 - Xi'an, China
2009 International Workshop on Broadband MIMO Channel Measurement and Modeling (IWonCMM 2009) will be held in conjunction with CHINACOM'09 in Xi'an, China, August 25, 2009. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore. High quality accepted and presented papers will be indexed by EI.
It is very important to understand the radio channel characteristics before designing and evaluating the wireless system. And channel measurement is a basic way to understand these characteristics. The MIMO technology promises great improvement in the channel capacity and reliability and it has become one of the hottest topics in literature research, industry standardization and development in wireless field. So the field channel measurement and channel modeling on MIMO has attracted a lot of attentions.
The broadband MIMO channel measurements can provide the distribution of large scale parameters and small scale parameters for the models, and can evaluate the accuracy of the models. To better understand the MIMO technique based on measured data and modelling, we organize this workshop to summarize the most up-to-date broadband MIMO channel modelling results developed worldwide.
Topics of Interest
The topics of interest within the scope of this issue include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Field broadband MIMO channel measurement and modeling
- Application and evaluation of MIMO channel models
